Shooting Tips
Clean all of your phone’s lenses using a lens cloth. Refrain from using your shirt, as that can scratch the lenses.
Hold the phone in horizontal mode for most shots.
For Interior photos, hold the phone about 12” from your body at about 4’ above the floor and NOT at eye height OR
Hold the phone about 1’ above a flat surface like a counter or bed that is close to you.
Watch for your reflection in windows, mirrors, and other shiny surfaces, such as stainless-steel appliances.
Make your rooms look larger by shooting corner-to-corner.
Take 3-4 photos of each of the primary rooms, like the living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, and primary bedroom. Take 1 photo each of the other rooms.
For secondary bedrooms, be sure to capture the windows and the closet. If you can, get them in one shot, but it could take two.
For bathrooms, be sure to watch out for your reflection in mirrors and tub surrounds.
Once your photo is framed, place the dot in the center of the screen and hold still for a couple seconds and the picture’s taken.
