Founded in 1995 as part of a Denver-based IT consulting company, Rockin’ Media began as a multimedia division serving a wide range of visual and technology needs. In the early 2000s, the owners acquired the multimedia division and later sold off the IT arm, allowing Rockin’ Media to focus exclusively on visual media and real estate marketing.

Since then, Rockin’ Media has grown into one of Colorado’s premier real estate photography companies. Our employee-based photography model ensures consistent quality, reliability, and accountability—something our clients value shoot after shoot.

In 2022, founder Rick Machle developed FlashHDR®, a proprietary imaging process that combines the natural look of HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography with the color accuracy and realism of flash photography. Building on decades of experience in both IT and professional photography, this innovation was extended to FlashHDRsc™, a smartphone-based capture system.

FlashHDRsc™ powers our SmartCapture end-to-end workflow, guiding users through image capture and backend processing to produce photos that come remarkably close to professional-level results—while maintaining speed, consistency, and ease of use.
